What Substrates are Used to Fabricate Memristors?

A Phd candidate requested a quote for the following:

Purpose is to make memristor structure on wafer. SRO layer thickness 20nm. This is our best guess. Important is that it is epitaxial.

We have made this far trials on lab scale and now we are looking for industrial scale process on wafer level. Important is that first trial on wafer level can be made. After that we are much wicer how to proceed. Therefore at this point We have only one STO coated 4 inch wafer.

Therefore We do not have exact specific action available.

It would be create if you could be helping us to have this made. Looking forward your quote

D263 Glass Substrates for Memristor Research

Memristors can be fabricated using a variety of substrates, including silicon, titanium dioxide, zinc oxide, and others. The choice of substrate depends on the desired properties of the memristor and the desired application. For example, silicon substrates are commonly used for their high electrical conductivity and stability, while titanium dioxide is often used for its good ionic conductivity.

Substrates are used to fabricate memristors, whose functions are similar to those of transistors, based on the charge and flux linkage between ions of electrically charged atoms. Silicon is a rigid material which can be used as a substrate in these devices, as it can be doped with other elements such as oxygen vacancies. This couples electrons that move when current is applied, using the flow of electrons to thus store information. This led to the development of a predictive mathematical theory which explains how voltage can be applied to materials and structures for storage and retrieval of data.

We would like to purchase more glass wafers (25 X) and thermal oxide on silicon wafers (10X) to continue the memristor project.
